Open Doors believes that the best way to support our participants is to support their Family Home Providers/Adult Foster Care.
Open Doors has 24-hour access to on-call support to help with emergencies should they arise.
Open Doors provides certification in CPR/First Aid.
Open Doors provides all required trainings including Medication Administration Training, College of Direct Support, Crisis Prevention and Intervention, Documentation and Individualized Training for participants served.
Open Doors supports open and positive team communication. Each Waiver participant has a case manager and other team members they may choose (day training, supported employment, behavior supports and others). Waiver participants may have family, friends or a legally appointed guardian on their team. Using person-centered planning and strong communication, a Waiver participant uses their supports and team to create the kind of life they envision for themselves now and always.
